When George Lucas wanted to transform his screenplay for Star Wars into a film, he turned to the concept artist Ralph McQuarrie to envision the characters that lived on the page. McQuarrie's artwork breathed life into Lucas' writing, transforming names like "Darth Vader" into the memorable characters that would captivate millions for over thirty years. These action figure sets take McQuarrie's original concept designs and sculpt them into a unique group of action figures that are both comfortingly familiar - and surprisingly different. Set #1 contains Concept Chewbacca, Concept Han Solo, Concept Obi-Wan, Concept Yoda, Concept Boba Fett, Concept R2-D2, and Concept C-3PO. Set #2 contains Concept Vader, Concept Storm Trooper, Concept Snow Trooper, Concept Rebel Trooper, Concept Star Killer, and Concept Luke. Each figure is sculpted at the 3 3/4"-scale.
